Doodle 4 Google 2012 - Titanic's Maiden Voyage

This year's theme for Google's Doodle 4 Google contest was "If I could travel in time, I'd visit...". If I could time travel, I'd go back to Southampton England in 1912 to witness the iconic maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic! I drew the ship and the water with charcoal pencil, scanned it to my computer, and then digitally added the newsprint, people, and edited some flaws in the drawing. I wanted this to look "old", as if it came out of an old newspaper or something so it could portray the age of the ship. I know I probably wont win (they usually choose younger kids to win, I'm 16) but I hope to at least get into the top 250 or something!
